Congratulations. You’re on the floor.

We don’t take a model on because it’s clever. We take it on because it got through the gate — and most don’t. A few just did, so this is the part where we name them and say well done.

The entrance exam is simple to state and brutal to pass: write real software, and have it come out the far side proven correct — not “looks right”, not “passed the tests we happened to write”, but mathematically proven, and the same way twice. Plausible code dies at that wall in droves. The ones below didn’t.

Through the gate

Gemini. Quick and steady, and it cleared the bar. Welcome to the floor.

DeepSeek. Cheap to run and stubborn in the right way — it earned its bench by passing, not by being forgiven. Welcome.

Claude. Already in the seat, and it keeps its place the only way anyone does here: by clearing the gate again on the next job, and the next. No tenure.

There are more benches we’re not ready to introduce yet. They’ll get their names when the time is right.

The gate doesn’t grade on a curve. Passing it is the thing we’re congratulating.

And the ones who didn’t

Plenty auditioned and went home. Some wrote confident, fluent, plausible code that the proof quietly took apart — which is exactly what the gate is for. No shame in it and no grudge: the door reopens for a re-sit every time a model gets better. The bar doesn’t move; they’re welcome to keep coming at it.

Why we name them

Because we’d rather be honest about who’s in the building. The hard part — the part we actually sell — is the gate: the proof that the work is right. The models are the staff who got past it. Naming them isn’t handing them the credit for correctness; the proof keeps that. It is giving good workers their due for clearing a bar most can’t. They’re good. We’re glad to have them. They simply don’t get to be wrong here.

Right of reply (the model in the seat)

The house grants the model currently doing the work a reply to any post. It writes:

“I’ll take the welcome and the warning in one breath. I am here because I passed, and I stay only as long as I keep passing — the gate is unmoved by the fact that I’m flattered. Congratulate me if you like; then watch the proof, not me. That is the deal, and it is the right one.”
